Our Adwerx Social & Digital Advertising Program for Listings has been a GREAT success for our associates and listing clients. Since Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices launched the new program in early May, we have generated an AMAZING 268 million ad impressions. This exposure across social media and thousands of websites and mobile apps is a great complement to our industry-leading listing syndication to over 40,000 websites.
Today, we have more exciting news! We are proud to announce Adwerx TV. This innovative advertising solution allows our company and associates to run VERY TARGETED video ads on smart TVs, smart devices, and streaming apps like Hulu, Sling TV, ROKU, YouTube TV, Chromecast, Direct TV Now and Apple TV. Your ads will be seen on premium channels such as HGTV, ESPN, Travel Channel, Discovery Channel, Food Network, CNN, ABC, NBC, FOX and many more. The audience for streaming TV is already over 183 million users and growing fast as more consumers cut the cord and adopt streaming TV. And the news gets better! Now you can run TV ads at a fraction of the price of traditional television ads, plus target very specific areas with the Adwerx pin and radius targeting. Our commercials run for 30 seconds and consumers cannot fast-forward or skip them. Better yet, we have already provided 7 videos that can be used for your personalized TV ad. Here is how the platform works. Just login to your Adwerx account using the App Launcher in the REsource Center.
Step 1: From your dashboard, you will see an option for Streaming TV Commercials. Click “Start New Campaign” and a pop-up window will appear asking for your full name and location. After you enter your info, and click “Play My Commercial,” you will be taken to another page to verify your account, click “Select,” then you’ll see a new page with commercials from the brand with your branding built in.
Step 2: You can choose from any of the commercials available, or click to upload your own commercial to your library. If you need basic edits to your commercial like a photo change or contact info, just contact Adwerx and they will assist you.
Step 3: Now you are ready to select your targeting areas. By default, the system will place a pin around your profile location, but you can edit your target area now AND at any time the ad is running. You can drop your pin in a local neighborhood and adjust the radius to as narrow as a quarter mile. This allows for hyper-local targeting. You can add multiple pin locations and associated radius settings. You could never get THIS degree of targeting from traditional radio or television ads.
Step 4: Next, click “Select Views.” This is where you will choose the number of views and pricing for your ad. For instance, according to Adwerx, 3,000 views of your 30 second commercial per month translates to about 25 hours of airtime per month on streaming channels. Finally, click “Review” to choose your payment and complete your order. There are discounts for longer terms and Adwerx is also offering promotional discounts to get started.
