Lead Generation Pages or Landing Pages are a great way to identify potential new prospects. If you attended our exclusive Marketing Edge event with Jason Pantana from the Tom Ferry organization, you’ll remember that Jason spoke about the benefits of landing pages to increase your lead capture rate. But let’s step back…what is a landing page?
A landing page is a simple web page that is used to target a specific audience and offers them something of value. The consumer enters their name and email address, and possibly a phone number to receive the item of value. Marketing campaigns are used to create awareness and drive consumers to the landing page. These campaigns can be executed on social media like Facebook and Instagram, digital ad platforms like the Google Ad network, email campaigns or on your website. For example, if you want to generate more listing leads, you may want to run a campaign where you offer our “Preparing Your Home For Sale Checklist.” You can use a link to this landing page in your ad and after the consumer fills out their information, they will get a link to download the checklist and you now have a new listing lead!
We have created a new option for custom landing pages that can be implemented on your agent websites! To get started, we have created a few campaigns with landing pages for seller and buyer lead generation with more to come. The new landing pages work well on all devices – desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones. Examples are:
- Preparing Your Home for Sale Checklist
- Countdown to Moving Checklist
After a consumer fills out the form on your landing page, they will get a link to download the item of value and you will get a new lead notification email and the consumer’s contact info will be in your intranet CRM. What’s great about these leads is that when you click on your lead, under client activity, you’ll see “forms submitted” at the bottom. Click “open” to see which form they downloaded (you will also see this info in the lead notification email). Now you know if you have a buyer or seller lead and can follow up with them in kind. This would be a good time to classify or group this lead and start your lead follow-up process.
Dennis Curry is a first-year President’s Circle associate who has been testing our landing pages on his homepage and is already getting leads! Way to go Dennis!
If you’d like to start working with these new landing pages, we have a tutorial in Propel (Note: specify where in PROPEL), or you can contact your local Agent Marketing Services representative for assistance.
