About Tonya

As a nationally recognized agent, Tonya extends her passion for real estate beyond “the sale” and places the focus on the people, as she helps them discover the American Dream of home ownership.  Described by her peers as “down-to-earth” and “having a keen business sense,” Tonya is dedicated to being an advocate for her clients, as well as her community.  After receiving her undergraduate degree in Accounting, she began her career in the corporate world. With attention to detail acquired in the “numbers field,” combined with knowledge gained through her husband's general contracting business, she found her calling in 2008.  As a full-time REALTOR®, Tonya specializes in Atlanta’s Southern Crescent...a place she has called home for her entire life.  While constantly researching the housing market and studying trends that affect the marketplace, Tonya uses this knowledge to best serve her clients.

Tonya and her husband, Shane, are the proud parents of three children; Emma Shane Heim and her husband, Hogan, have made their home in Nashville, Tennessee; Grant works in Newnan, Georgia as a flight instructor; and Rhett joined her in 2022 and is forging his own path in real estate.  Tonya feels it is a true privilege to have a front row seat watching her youngest son discover his passion as he makes real estate a career.

Her philosophy of “being blessed to be a blessing” is played out in her philanthropic endeavors.  Tonya supports various local charities, as well as athletic teams and the arts at many local schools. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Southwest Christian Care and is The Sunshine Kids Ambassador for her BHHS office. Tonya and Shane are active members of Fayetteville First Baptist Church..
