Senior Vice President and Managing Broker, Wendy Allen, will lead the sales strategy and enhance the BHHS brand experience for agents and clients in the South Fulton area. In order to get better acquainted with the new location, we spoke with Wendy about the office space, her team and why College Park is so appealing to home buyers.
Berkshire Hathaway: What are some of the unique qualities that College Park offers residents?
Wendy: The city of College Park has become one of the most exciting communities in the greater metropolitan Atlanta area, and for good reason. This uniquely charming, well-established community is conveniently located near the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Interstates I-85 and I-285. Residents and visitors alike will find that the revitalized city offers the best of Southern hospitality in its city services, local restaurants, lodging accommodations, parks and recreation, and community events. College Park also boasts the largest independent school in the continental United States, Woodward Academy, as well as The Main Street Academy, a K-8 public charter school proudly serving the Tri-Cities area.
Berkshire Hathaway: How does your team plan to engage with the community?
Wendy: It is an honor to be part of the Historic College Park community. We joined the community in November 2020 and have received a warm welcome from our neighbors, business owners, and community leaders. Along with our partner, Prosperity Home Mortgage, we are looking forward to offering home buyer, education, and generational wealth seminars to residents throughout the community. We are excited to engage with the community and introduce various home buying opportunities through loan assistance programs that Prosperity Home Mortgage offers.
Berkshire Hathaway: What drew you to the new office space?
Wendy: Built in 1959, our new location is a historic building that was formerly a bank, in the heart of the city. We were drawn to the space because it’s located in the center of Historic College Park, across from City Hall, with direct access to Main Street and within five miles of the city’s newest mixed-use development which will expand the community experience.
Berkshire Hathaway: How would you describe the culture of your office and team?
Wendy: Our leadership team has been preparing and anticipating the opening of our new location for over a year. Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, Prosperity Mortgage and our dedicated teams are excited, driven and honored to serve families in this area as they work to achieve their real estate goals.
