In order to become a successful REALTOR, you need to consistently set appointments. If you attended our awesome Tom Ferry Live event, you know that Tom challenged everyone to set 100 appointments by the end of the year. The good news is there are thousands of buyers and sellers across Metro Atlanta and North Georgia who need YOUR help!
So, how do you get more appointments? In our Good To Know series, we’re going to cover some of the most popular Tom Ferry’s listing attractions that he shared with us at Tom Ferry Live. Remember, the entire video, audio podcast and slides are available on your Agent Intranet.
When it comes to lead generation, we recommend a balanced approach. Tom suggests 4-6 lead generation sources to help make your business un-disruptable. He also recommends focusing on listings so you control the market and buyers will come to you. In each of our Good To Know segments, we will provide several options that are no cost or easier to implement plus a more advanced option for those who want to separate themselves further from the competition. The topics for today are – Door Knocking Hot Communities, Leveraging Your Qualified Buyers and using the Poll Feature on Instagram Stories.
#1 Door Knock Hot Communities – In today’s high-tech world, sometimes a low-tech solution will work best! This tip just requires a sticky note and a business card or other relevant document. Just leave your business card on the front door of a home in a targeted neighborhood along with a sticky note to get a call back. You could also print a Buyer Market Analysis with a sticky note. It’s quick, intriguing, and this approach is proven to generate appointments!
#2 Leverage Your Qualified Buyers – Send letters to homeowners who have a potential home for your buyer. Your goal is to schedule a showing appointment with your buyer. Include Zillow Reviews in your letter to establish your credibility and show the value you have delivered to past clients. #3 Poll Feature on Instagram Stories – The Poll Feature on Instagram Stories is a great option to generate interest on social media. Use this feature to ask questions that will help start conversations in the Instagram DM (direct message). We have already seen some agents doing this after the Tom Ferry event and hear some great success stories.
